刘奋荣 Fenrong Liu
2001年获中国社会科学院研究生院哲学博士, 2008年获荷兰阿姆斯特丹大学理学博士, 现任清华大学哲学系教授, 清华大学哲学系副主任。主要的研究兴趣:
关于信息与主体的逻辑。 如, 动态偏好逻辑、信念修正理论、多主体系统以及非理想的主体。
A Brief Bio: Fenrong Liu is a full Professor of Logic, Deputy Director at the Department of Philosophy at Tsinghua University. She received her first Ph.D in 2001 at the Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and her second Ph.D in 2008 at the ILLC, University of Amsterdam. Fenrong works mainly in the field of logics for rational agency. Her research work includes the formal structured models of preference dynamics and reasons for preference, and modeling different types of agent in terms of logic. She has published a number of papers and books on these topics, notably, Reasoning about Preference Dynamics (Springer 2011). Her recent interest lies in understanding the features of information flow in social setting, and establishing more realistic models for games. In addition, she maintains active interests in Chinese Ancient Logic. She advocates reading Chinese old texts by means of modern logical theories, currently editing a Handbook of Logical Thought in China. Fenrong is a vice-editor of the journal Studies in Logic, and an editorial board member of the journals Synthese, Studia Logica and Topoi.
